Delivery
The Discount Furniture Co provides furniture delivery across Melbourne and selected areas of Victoria.
Delivery availability, pricing and estimated timeframes may vary depending on your location, the products ordered, product availability and accessibility at the delivery address.
Delivery Charges
Our standard local delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery distance from our dispatch location:
- Up to 25 km – $100
- 25 km to 50 km – $150
- 50 km to 100 km – $200
- 100 km to 160 km – $280
Eligible Regional Victoria deliveries are available at a flat delivery rate of $350.
Delivery availability is subject to the delivery address. The applicable delivery option and charge will be displayed at checkout where available.
For locations where a delivery option is not displayed at checkout, please contact our team for availability and a delivery quote.
Additional charges may apply for difficult access, flights of stairs or other special delivery requirements. Where applicable, these will be communicated before delivery.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Most products are generally delivered within approximately 5–7 business days from order confirmation, subject to product availability, delivery location, scheduling and access requirements.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on current stock availability, supplier availability, incoming shipments and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a product is temporarily unavailable, awaiting incoming stock, on backorder or subject to an extended lead time, a different estimated delivery timeframe may apply. Where applicable, the estimated timeframe will be displayed on the relevant product page or communicated by our team.
If we become aware of a material change to the estimated delivery timeframe after an order has been placed, our team will contact the customer with an updated estimate.
Products on Display in Store – Available to Order
Some products displayed in our showrooms may be available to view in store and order for delivery even when they are not available for immediate collection from that showroom.
Display-to-order products are generally delivered within approximately 5–7 business days, subject to current product and supplier availability.
Where a display-to-order product is awaiting incoming stock, on backorder or subject to an extended lead time, a different estimated delivery timeframe may apply. Where applicable, the estimated timeframe will be displayed on the relevant product page.
Display availability does not necessarily mean that the product is available for immediate collection from that showroom.

To obtain a delivery quote, please enter your postcode into the shipping calculator on the relevant product page or during checkout.
If a delivery option is not displayed for your location, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist.
Important Delivery Information
- Deliveries involving flights of stairs may incur an additional surcharge.
- Disposal of product packaging is not included as part of our standard delivery service.
- Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order at the agreed time. Additional charges may apply if a delivery needs to be rescheduled.
- Please ensure that floors, walls and other internal surfaces are adequately protected before delivery. The Discount Furniture Co is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate protection of these surfaces during delivery.
- Please ensure that all delivery information provided is accurate, including your delivery address, contact details and any information that may affect access to the property.
- Before ordering, please ensure that the furniture can safely fit through all relevant doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts and other access points.
Click & Collect
Click & Collect is available for eligible orders.
Products purchased online or in-store may be arranged for collection from our warehouse once the order is confirmed as ready for pickup.

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is suitable for transporting the purchased goods safely. The Discount Furniture Co is not responsible for damage that occurs after collection as a result of loading, securing or transporting the goods in the customer's vehicle.
